Veterinarian :

Sandra Sargent, DVM, DACVD

Dr. Sandra Sargent is a native of Beaver County. She received a BS in Animal Science from West Virginia University and her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992. She spent 11 years in privatepractice in central and eastern Pennsylvania before completing a 3 year residency specializing in veterinary dermatology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Sargent passed a rigorous examination and achieved board certification in veterinary dermatology in August 2006. Her special interests include diseases of the ear canal and equine dermatology. She has authored several publications and has spoken at numerous continuing education seminars for other veterinarians.

Her free time is spent breeding, showing, and completing field trials with her Brittanies as well as riding her Tennessee Walking Horse.
