Pittsburgh Veterinary Dermatology, LLC was started in August of 2003 in order to fill a void in veterinary dermatology services in the greater Pittsburgh area and is closely associated with the three other specialty practices that together make up Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialists. Pittsburgh Veterinary Dermatology is an independent business that limits its scope of practice to diseases of the skin, including the ears. While dogs and cats are the most common pets seen, PVD also consults with owners of pocket pets and occasionally of large animals.
